the slim-away belt is a false advertizment & big let down for those who want to lose weight. I bought one & it broke so if you ask me that is the worst ‘do’nt buy
I wonder how fat you have to be for it to make you look slimmer? I put mine all the way to the end and I could have gotten it tighter but there wasn’t another zipper. I don’t like the product. I don’t think it makes me look slimmer and I sweat a gross amount underneath!! Makes me hot all over. I wore it today to go shopping and I couldn’t wait to go home and take it off.
I’ve yet to buy it but it seems as if those who spoke about blisters only wire out as a slimmer but those who actually worked out looks and feels good. So hey maybe its not exactly what’s advertised but Ill try it out
wore it 4 two days and it gave me blisters and a rash.!! plus it stank! But it works. but at what cost… Its going back to the store. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this .
I used this product twice and both times it has left me with a rash all the way around my mid- section. Very uncomfortable due to itching.
It is another peice of Chinese crap. The zipper does not even hold! Smells like a toxic waste pit. Maybe you can wear it over a hazmat suit. It is going back to Walmart for a refund.

This was my first day with slim away….I will only plan to use the product while exercising. Especially since I do Zumba, Hip hop abs, and run, I need back support and the reminder to keep my abdominal tight. It has been proven that the form you take while exercising will create a new body based on that form…so if I’m crouching and stick my belly out (because of exhaustion) my smaller body will still look pooched and slouchy..right? If slim away does one thing, it will aid in the ‘LOOK’ that I want…right???
I just bought mine today and put it on before I started my dance routine. I can easily move in it and I could instantly tell that it was improving my workout. Usually I dont sweat much but after 3 minutes I was pouring sweat. I love it so far.
I bought this initially thinking I would be able to wear it as a slimming undergarment. By no means does it slim my waist. the fabric is way too thick to have any slimming results, actually made me look bigger through my blouses. But I have been wearing it when I work out and when I do go walking, and it has helped me lose some water weight. I wear it for a couple hours each time, and by the time I take it off I am sweating a lot on my stomach. Just make sure you drink a lot of water while wearing this product, since you are sweating a lot.
Bottom line: I would recommend this product to wear while working out and to lose some water weight. I would not recommend this product as a slimming undergarment.
Like George Hill comment above, I had blisters and my waist was red all the way around. I do not have any allergies nor allergic. I think the product might have actually burned me. I read the instructions, and wore it, like the lady did in the commercial. Went to work, had it on approx 9hrs. I have the product manual in front of me, no where am I seeing a time limit. In any case when I took off, I was red, had blisters and 1 week later I am posting this and still have scars. I have taken pictures and posted on flickr. This product is a waste of money. It’s hard to put on, doesn’t slim anything, and doesn’t even make one sweat. It’s cheaply made, and mine is now in the garbage can. Buyer beware!
It took me a while to get it on. I wore slim away for maybe 3 hrs and when i took it off I had blisters all over my stomach. I would definitely not recommend this product.

It took me twenty minutes to put it on in the morning and then I needed four hands to hold it and zip it up.When I did get it on, I was hoping that I`d have better back support, (for I bought it for the back support.) I decided that I would not wear it that day and put back on the back supporter that actually helps me that I bought, from Home Depot.(the workers back support) It did not make me look thin and trim it made me more bulky and more rolls and I know for a fact,if I wore this under my clothes, I would have sweat running down.It would be great for excising, you`ll take a shower afterwards. The rubber stinks so bad,it is making me gag.Besides for those who are wanting to buy American, this is NOT the product,it`s made in China.
