If we had the Slice-O-Matic for my last event at my home, this would have made this choir quick and easier. Considering this simple to use and easy to clean slicer for less that 20 dollars, is a must have for any kitchen.
Joe must work for the company. SliceOmatic is absolute junk, flimsy and a waste of money. The only time it works is on TV. I’ve given it several chances with different veggies and it fails miserably. Quite dangerous to change the sharp julienne blades and is NOT dishwasher safe (per instruction manual). Telebrands should be given a class action lawsuit… check amazon for MANY dissatisfied customers. Since I can’t return the two I have, I’ll wait 20 years and maybe I can sell them as a “failed product novelty” and recoup my losses. You’ve been WARNED!
On October 4, 2011, I ordered ONE (1) set for $19.99 plus when adding the extra shipping came to $33.97. Imageine my surprise when I checked my bank account to find out they took out $60.95. I called adn was told by “Toni” that they would refund the $60.95 within 7-10 business days. but that since I did want 1 order they “cancelled” that order and would take out $33.97 correctly which they did on October 14th. I called that day and asked about the refund. Was told they were processing it and would send it out. I called AGAIN on October 26th and was told by “Donna” that she will send it to upper management to “expedite” my refund. On October 31st, Emma said SHE would sent to upper management to expedite, (HMMM same thing Donna said) Again she said allow 7-10 business days. I said *** NO I want my money in 24 hours back in my account. I asked for supervisor. after 12 minutes I mysteriously got disconnected. Called right back,. This time “Jasper” said they were waiting on authorization from my bank to put the money into my account. BULL CRAP. I called my bank. Sherry at bank never heard such garbage. I called AGAIN on November 3, 2011 and “Alison said she will “Expedite ” to upper management. (See a pattern here?)
I demanded a supervisor. Well ‘Angel’ got on line and said she will look into it and she will call me within 24-72 hours. Yeah right. Wait and see. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER , NEVER order from this company again. They take your money and you play *** getting it back. I never got the free gift either. At this point i just want my $60.95 put back into my account IMMEDIATELY. I guess no one there knows how to count , 7 – 10 business days from October 14, 2001 is well gone by
Just bought the sliceomatic as a gift for my mom. She is loving this Slice-O-matic! She has told me that she loves how simple it is to use and effortless it is to clean. So from my mom to your mom this product is highly recommended. Also since my mom loved it so much, can you guess what my grandmother is getting as a Christmas present?
