I opened the pack and was careful to see my sons reaction as I personally was already sold.
Not to my surprise he seemed to enjoy taking the strings from the wax paper.
He did that for so long and there were still many to remove. I found that a good activity in itself. I did not explain what it was and what he was to do with it. After removing about 250-300 he was excited for the mountain of colors he had built.
Since I didn’t want to overdue it immediately I then told him let’s sort them .
This was a good introductory activity. Day 2 I pulled out bendaroos and focused only on letting him enjoy the sticks. Day 3 I will show him the sample cards so we can create from templates.
A few good days. Make sure they don’t drop and wash your hands the sticks can get messy and thus shorten it’s playing life
I think I’m gonna buy one for my girl. I wanna stimulate her creativity and this is an eye catching and a useful tool for her. Gonna order right now.
